my name is douglass neyman i am a navy vet of first iraq war in the last five months i have had two toes removed from my left foot due to diabetis i have not worked since june and i am in need of help i tryed veterens affairs they are telling me six months i have bills and child support which i cant pay please if anyone knows were i can turn for help please let me know

I would strongly recommend that you reach out to the Lackawanna County Department of Veterans Affairs if you have not already done so. Your local VSO office will be able to assist you in finding resources and expediting VA claims. They can be reached at (570) 963-6778 or online at http://www.lackawannacounty.org/index.php/departmentsagencies/human-services/veterans-affairs. You may also want to contact the Southern Tier Veterans Support group, who should also be able to provide you with some guidance. You can find out more about them at https://stvsg.org/. Hello, I'm very saddened to hear about your situation. If you still need assistance you may also do an Internet search of local foundations in your state that will provide money to veterans programs. Some smaller foundations may offers free grant money for individuals your situation. You can try crowdfunding sites online also. Easy, look up set up! Anything helps! People just see your photo and read your story and donate! Good luck.
