BRIEF: Free seminar will cover programs, benefits for veterans in Erie

April 24--Federal veterans affairs, labor and small business specialists will discuss programs and benefits available to veterans and their families during a May 13 seminar in Erie.
The free seminar will address health-care, readjustment and education benefits, housing assistance, employment and training programs, small business grants and special assistance for female veterans.
The event will be held at VFW Post 470, at 1808 W. 26th St., at 7 p.m.
The seminar is sponsored by U.S. Rep. Glenn Thompson. Thompson and his staff will be on hand during the seminar to assist veterans.
