Veterans Services

VETERANS’ ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

The Veterans' Assistance Program is intended to provide one-time, limited emergency assistance to eligible veterans and dependents in Snohomish County.

The program:

  • Provides emergency financial assistance for honorably discharged veterans, veterans' widows, and qualified dependents.
  • Arranges for mental health and alcohol/drug assessment and treatment at a VA Medical Center.
  • Rapid Rehousing and Eviction Prevention for those literally homeless or at imminent risk of becoming homeless
  • Provides outreach to veterans through satellite offices in Lynnwood, Monroe, Marysville and at the county jail.
  • Accredited Veteran Service Officers assist with claims, appeals, over payments, and discharge upgrades.
